Michelin-star news 2022

For the first time in the history of the Hungarian Michelin rating, restaurants in the countryside have been awarded with Michelin stars: Platán Gourmet in Tata right away 2 Michelin stars and 42 restaurants in Esztergom 1 Michelin star.

We are so proud of restaurants in Budapest as well: Doubling its 1 star from last year, Stand become the other 2-stat restaurant in Hungary. Five restaurants in Budapest retained their one-star status: Babel, Borkonyha Winekitchen, Costes, Essência, Salt. While Rumour won its first start for the first time.
In total, our country boasts 2 two Michelin stars and 7 one Michelin stars.
